Girls' Day Out

When you live in the sticks, a trip to town is a big deal. For the second time this season, Caroline and I had a girls' day in town. We started with a trip to Kmart to "borrow" their decorations because C wanted to be like Dawie.

Then we met Mama Norma for lunch and to see The Nutcracker performed by the children's theater.

Caroline's friend Sarah was a little angel in the performance.

Could she be ANY cuter!! How fun! I loooove her scarf, too! Elia would never go for that. :( C is just so stylish! :)

She is a work in progress. Most of her fashion comes from seeing her friends at school and copying their style. I'll take what I can get. I myself am in danger of getting nominated for What Not To Wear.

She was lady-like at the performance. She whispered that she wanted to be a ballerina so she twirled in the aisle during intermission.

What a fun day for your girls. I love the Christmas dress. C looks beautiful and I can just imagine her twirling in the aisle.
