I hope our cheap old suitcases hold together. They are stuffed to the gills, mainly with donations and gifts.
Last Sunday, our church held a send-off party for us and gave all these items to donate to the various organizations we'll visit. Many also gave us money so we can purchase one or more big-ticket items once we learn what their specific needs are.
And this is what Caroline did to her room this morning while I packed. Allison, you asked for a housesitter's to-do list. Here's item #1.

So glad to hear that you can leave knowing paperwork is in place. Looks like C was just doing what Mommy was doing...organizing HER stuff. Again, Happy B'day!
Love you
Mama
Yeah!!! What a relief, to be able to leave knowing that everything is where is should be. I am so excited for you!!
Happy Birthday!!
Oh Wow! Can't believe you leave tomorrrrrrrooooww! Best of the best lies ahead. Can't wait for your return and so glad to read that all the paperwork is worked out.

Yay for paperwork getting to where it is supposed to be! Spend extra time tonight on your last bedtime ritual with Caroline as the only child... then have a glass of wine and relax... you'll be holding your new little babe in no time!
This is like a fairy tale. The dragon(missing paperwork)was slain at the last minute. The prince and princess fly to a new land to find treasure. And they all lived happily ever after. Happy Birthday, Lori.
The pics of C's room crack me up! Have a fantastic time! And, so sweet for your church to have a send-off party. Love it!
So happy for you! I know how good this feels, and I'm sooo happy for you both. It's the best thing ever!
Happy Birthday and Safe Travels!! I love seeing all of your bags packed! :)
